Responsibility within the company
Responsible business practices are an important part of ritterwerk’s corporate approach. Alongside economic and social considerations, we also take into account the responsible use of energy and resources. At our company site in Gröbenzell, ritterwerk operates its own photovoltaic system. The solar power generated there is used for our business operations and reduces the amount of externally sourced electricity we require.
When developing, producing and distributing our products, we take into account the applicable legal requirements and European regulations. These include requirements relating to RoHS, WEEE and REACH, as well as the applicable requirements for packaging.
Our commitment does not end when an appliance is sold. A long service life, repair options and the availability of spare parts are important elements of our product and service philosophy. For many ritter appliances, we keep spare parts available over long periods of time. In addition, appliances can be inspected and repaired in our in-house customer service workshop, depending on the model, age, defect and availability of spare parts.

To our knowledge, our products do not contain any substances in concentrations or applications which it is prohibited to place on the market in products.

Packaging disposal in France
“Triman” and “Info-tri” product labeling for recyclable and separately collected products
Since 2015, France has had a legal requirement to label packaging and products that are collected separately and subject to extended producer responsibility with the Triman logo. In February 2020, a new circular economy law (Loi AGEC) was enacted in France. Among other things, the law provides for changes regarding the mandatory labeling of household packaging.
The “Triman” product label informs consumers whether a product is recyclable, subject to extended producer responsibility, and collected separately in France. From now on, the Triman and the Info-tri are inseparable. The symbol featuring a figure with three arrows—which indicates that the waste is subject to sorting regulations – and the signage specifying how and where the packaging or paper must be sorted appear together on the products.
We fulfill this producer responsibility by displaying the “Triman” and “Info-tri” product labels on our website as well as on our packaging and user manuals.
Our EPR registration number is: FR207669_01BZTA
