Warranty Terms and Conditions

For all ritter devices, ritterwerk provides a 2-year-long manufacturer's warranty, calculated from the date of purchase and in accordance with the EU warranty guidelines. Your legal warranty claims according to § 437 ff. BGB (German Civil Code) remain unaffected by this regulation. The manufacturer warranty applies to all devices sold within the European Union.

During the warranty period, we will rectify any defects on a free-of-charge basis which can be clearly attributed to production or material defects. We may decide whether we totally or partially replace or repair the device.

Warranty-related repairs or replacements shall not extend the warranty period – neither for replacement parts nor for the entire device.

Any claims for damages exceeding the above warranty, including, without limitation, claims for compensation for assembly expenses, shall be excluded.

This warranty shall exclude natural wear and tear, parts subject to wear and tear (such as circular knife sharpness) and damage caused by non-compliance with the manual. Damage resulting from inappropriate use, usage of aggressive cleaning agents, unauthorised interference with the devices and device, mains cable or mains plug modifications shall also be excluded.

Only if the proof of purchase was delivered together with the device shall warranty services be performed.

Please contact us prior to sending any devices for warranty repair purposes. We will provide you with a completed parcel label for free-of-charge return delivery.

Built-in Systems Warranty Terms and Conditions

applicable to ritter built-in systems with invoices from 1 January 2015

Furthermore, ritterwerk grants a five-year manufacturer warranty, commencing on the date of purchase, for any and all ritter installation systems which were purchased after 01/01/2015 based on a contract for work and labour (that is, for an individually designed kitchen) and which were assembled and/or installed by specialist workers (kitchen assemblers, carpenters etc.); the proof of purchase shall be considered evidence. Your legal warranty claims according to § 437 ff. BGB (German Civil Code) remain unaffected by this regulation. The manufacturer warranty applies to all devices sold within the European Union.
